Arts/Entertainment Law

Our art/entertainment law practice started off with us advising our visual artist friends on their rights, and being paid in artwork. This practice has grown over the years and is one of the reasons why we are based in the Zhongshan Building. We now advice people both in the visual arts and in the entertainment industry on a variety of contracts that they find themselves being asked to “just sign here”. These include diverse areas of practice including but not limited to branding, collaboration, archiving, curatorial, design, sale of artwork (both multimedia or otherwise), commission works,  merchandising, way finding, network agreements, production contracts (both film and mini-series), radio announcer contracts, screening contracts, dance, funding, e-sports contracts and licensing agreements. Our strength in this area is our understanding of the industry, our litigation expertise and our belief in strategy and innovation.
